Michael Mountjoy was born in Frankfort, Kentucky and grew up in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on his family’s horse farm where they raised championship American Saddlebred horses. After graduating from the University of Kentucky’s law school in 1972, Michael moved to Citrus County, Florida and started practicing law and 1973 with Don Bradshaw. Michael represented multiple government agencies until focusing exclusively on probate, trust administration, and estate planning in the mid-1980s. Michael is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and Kentucky.
